What is Zabihah or Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيحَة)? 🐏
Animals such as cows, sheep, chickens, etc., are also Halal (حلال), but they need to be Zabihah (ritually slaughtered
according to Islamic rites) to be considered suitable for consumption. In Spanish-speaking countries, the term Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيحَة) is used.
Some additives are not Halal or Makruh (مكروه) as they come from animals that are not Zabihah or Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيحَة). For this reason, they are Haram for Muslims who consume them.
